"Don't get comfortable." - Cardi B
Entrepreneurship. Community. LinkedIn Video.
Hi. I'm Rachel Chang - a Dallas enthusiast [I named my dog after my city], entrepreneur [fancy title for self-employed], and content creator [I'm pretty much LinkedIn famous]. On April 13, 2017, the day I got back from my honeymoon with the other half of #2Changz, I chopped all of my hair off. A month later I left my full time job in architecture. At the ripe age of 24 years old, I realized the empowerment of making my own decisions and I didn't even need Gary V to tell me “we are in control of the one asset that we all give the most f#%ks about, and that is time.”
As the former Director of Events and Programs at the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, I received a crash course in all things startups by leading the largest entrepreneurial programming in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. While I still have no freaking idea what a venture capitalist REALLY does, I know a bunch of them [$]. And I've picked up on a thing or two when it comes to starting, building, and scaling a business...
Did I mention I'm LinkedIn famous? In November of 2017, I started leveraging LinkedIn video to facilitate public speaking opportunities and showcase my work. I started with one take, unedited videos that cover everything from upcoming events to career advice to why the Backstreet Boys are a formidable reflective tool #CarThoughts. Although I'm no Steven Spielberg [yet], I've expanded my coverage [better watch out Verizon] to edited vlogs, event recaps, and whatever content I feel like making!
I'm stopping this about me section to avoid further risking my credibility.
